Congregation Ner Tamid is "A Special Place to Belong" - no matter what your age! Our Youth Groups are a fun and rewarding opportunity for your child to be part of a group of children his/her age range. Children develop a strong bond with their peers as they progress through the years.
IBN - (ITTY BTTY NTTY) (grades 3-5)
This group meets once a month after Religious School. A lunch is served, and then the fun begins! Sometimes it's an Ice Cream Social, sometimes Pizza and a Movie, or Bowling, and so much more! The goal of this group is to engage our younger students and their parents, creating life-long friendships that keep the children engaged in temple life and help parents to form a Jewish cohort. A calendar of events will be distributed at the beginning of the school year. Dues are included in the Religious School tuition; some additional fees may apply depending on events. Please contact Beth Davis at 632-2250 for more information.
TNT - Teens of Ner Tamid (grades 6-8)
Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 will meet once a month on Sundays, after Religious School. After lunch, students engage in group activities that are fun (and maybe a little educational - but don't tell them that!). The goal of TNT is to involve young people in social experiences, in order to strengthen their relationships with each other, with the CNT family, and with the jewish community. A calendar of events will be distributed at the beginning of the school year. Dues for TNT are included in the Religious School tuition, however some events may require some additional fees. Please contact Beth Davis at 632-2250 for more information.
NTTY - Ner Tamid Temple Youth (grades 9-12)
Grades 9-12 will meet as a division of NFTY (the National Federation of Temple Youth). NTTY has their own board, where in conjunction with their advisor, they create their own calendar of events to support their programs and activities. They are CNT role models.
